His forthcoming novel, SIX CLEAN KILLS, will be published by Blackstone in 2028 and is currently in development as a feature film with Charlize Theron attached to star and produce. Stan will adapt and executive produce the film.

His previous novel, LOVE AND THEFT (Doubleday), was a New York Times Book Review Editor’s Choice and is currently in development as a feature film at Amazon MGM Studios. Stan will adapt and executive produce the film.

His first novel, DOWN THE SHORE (Viking), was a GQ Best Book of the Month, a New York Post Must-Read Book, and a New York Daily News Can't-Put-Down Novel.

His short story, CASH RICH, is currently in development at Universal Global Television. Stan will co-write and executive produce the series.

He is the former editor-in-chief of The Future of Everything at The Wall Street Journal and his writing has appeared in The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, T Magazine, New York, Bloomberg, GQ, Esquire, Surface, Interview, Departures and elsewhere.

He holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and lives with his family between Incline Village, Nevada and Barcelona, Spain.
